My question is regarding the month of June in St. Barths. It appears that my family has made a decision to take a much needed vacation back to St. Ba

Re: Low Season?

As far as I can tell at this point, 8 or 9 groups of us will converge on the island in June. This may account for a "mini-season"- LOL. It has awlays been a good time to go.

Re: Low Season?

Eddie- three weeks? You glutton- LOL! Be prepared to kill some liver cells, increase your odds of future skin cancer, sharply increase your odds of dying due to car accident on poorly lit roads lacking guard rails, gaining copious amounts of weight, spending way too much money- who would ever want to go?

By the way, you will leave the island feeling better than you ever have!

Re: Low Season?

Rob- This will be my longest visit ever. I've been doing 2 weeks, for the last few years. Prior to that, it was one week, going back to my first visit, in 1985. I need the extra time for my photo work. I may not go next year (of course, I said that about this year) as I'm thinking of a photo expedition to different locations.

<<<I am specifically wondering if Le Ti St. Barths is still open because as a kid (14) I had probably one of the more interesting nights of my life there..ha. >>>

NICE try....
OK, details, details....
(sex, drugs, rock and roll or any combination of the 3....)

Re: Low Season?

Besides the liver and kidney damage one can inflict on oneself, What a way to go! A couple years ago we had some of the youngsters (18 to 21 years old) along. They were back, from the place formerly known as Feelings, sometime around sunrise. 'Nuff said.

God, i'm an old dog...the hours that place keeps, and the hours I keep, just don't even come close to matching...I have never even seen a SIGN of life up there....LOL
BTW, I always thought it was a gay bar...

Re: Low Season?

Thanks for all the information..I really appreciate it. And I must admit how excited I am that Le Ti will be open...yippee. Perhaps I can go back and re-live some of those early teen years, ha. One can only hope.

It is great to hear that there are several places to go out and have a drink after we put those parents to bed.So this place Nikki Beach, what is it like? I don't believe I have ever been there before after checking out some photos online..

I remember though, Le Select which I absolutly love and am so thrilled that there is live music on Saturday's..How cool.

Re: Low Season?

Al,

Since my wife and I are planning on going to Arts in the Park to see Eddie's show, I'll look forward to meeting you there.

Re: Low Season?

Yeah, the place always looked empty. But I only drove by before midnight. I heard it was a "bi" type of place. The "kids" seemed to enjoy it, sunrise walk-in and all. Both of them are married with families now. I didn't miss the boat! I just can't swim, or comprehend, as well these days.
