Manapany

We spent a long afternoon at Manapany predicated on the advice of Mr.McGrew---what a beautiful, relaxing place.
Pool, beach, and lots of cute surfer guys in the afternoon.
The 25E lunch special is SO worth it!

Mr. McGrew likes the bar/restaurant too but the poster is looking for someone who stayed there I guess to see how the rooms are.

The only way to engage Fred on his stay there is to post in the Politics forum with a subject of Obama Fundraiser in the Manapany Hotel.

Has anyone stayed since the renovation? How is the beach? Thx

The renovations appeared to take place on the lower "sea level" rooms, and from what I saw, they looked fine. We were up the hill in a couple of suites, both adequate...neat, but not gaudy.

Pa Cri has relocated there, too. Food was outstanding. Not a swimming beach...too rocky, but fine to laze upon. Plenty of room high and low tides... Pool not large...and portions of the deck are "reserved" for spa patrons...which was ignored....and the resto has some tables out on the pool deck, too.

Staff helpful and nice....did not try spa.

I'd give it a 6.5-7 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the IDF. For a family...(or in my case, 2 families...) was perfectly acceptable...
