Le Village Junior Suite

Has anyone stayed in their junior suite ? Photos on line look nice. Need to fill in a couple of nights at the end of an upcoming trip.

I haven't stayed in the Jr. Suite, but I stayed in La Case and a few other rooms at Le Village over the years as an extension of villa stays. The pool area is beautiful and the gym is good. Breakfast is simple with a gorgeous view. What I especially love about Le Village is the location. We could easily walk to the beach, dinner and a few St. Jean bars. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner at Romi our first night after a long day of travel. It wasn't more than a 2 or 3 minute walk and instantly put us in an island vibe.

Years ago we stayed in just a standard room, which was very nice, so I am sure the Junior Suite would be even better. The best part, like Jeanette said, is the location. It's really nice to be able to walk to St Jean and all the shops, restaurant and beach. The pool is really nice, too. My only complaint is that we are not early-risers and the housekeeping staff was always trying to come in and clean very early, even with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Baie de Anges for a few nights last year and it was very, very nice!
I believe that we stayed in a “beach front room”. It has been renovated and updated since Irma.

I ended up moving my villa reservation so as to avoid a couple-of-nights hotel tag-on, but I also checked with Les Islets in the meantime. They have a seven night minimum. In season, at least.

We stayed for a week at Le Village. Originally planned to go for a long weekend and then decided somewhat late to make it a full week. I had originally booked the jacuzzi suite. Lovely space. The bedroom area was on the smaller size but the bathroom was huge. There is an outdoor covered living area and dining table along with the eponymous jacuzzi. Fantastic view over the bay and a great breeze. The lovely wife had to do a video conference that was scheduled before we extended the trip so she set up her laptop on the table outside. The first remarks I heard were everyone asking where she was and whether the background was real. Since we decided to extend our stay late unfortunately we had to move to a tradition room for the rest of the stay. Room was fine but the mosquitos were pretty bad. The racquet got a lot of use.

Friends are currently in the junior suite through end of the month and have stayed there for 2-3 months for the last number of years. We arrive tomorrow and are in a superior suite (1 bath) for next 2 weeks; have stayed in 10 & 12 in the past…you cannot go wrong in any of them
