Le Ti

First-time poster here. We're planning our second trip to SBH for February/March of this year for a 8-9 nights. Last visit, we did not make it to Le Ti. I'm trying to determine if we should add it to our itinerary this time. I've gathered mixed-reviews from sources online. Some people swear by it as a must do; others claim that it's over-hyped and has gone down hill in recent years. So, thoughts on Le Ti? Additionally, any thoughts on how to approach it - dinner reservation (and if so, seating times?) or just drinks only (and if so, does one still need reservations)? Particular nights of the week? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated. Thank you!

Based on their social media they are back in business after several years of being closed. Find them on Instagram and see for yourself. Back when we traveled with our kids(20s) it was often a destination and we would book at 9:00 or 9:30 to then enjoy the show. Food was always good and I just read the chef has been there for many years.

What have you heard that prompts you to consider going there? IMO, whether one goes to Le Ti — and the time of doing so — depends on what you’re looking for. Good dining? Drinking too much & dancing on tables? Testing limits of Covid? Getting dressed in costumes from the wardrobe room (I wonder when they were last cleaned)?

In retrospect, I’ll add that my questions were based, in significant part, on Le Ti’s reputation of several years ago & prior & my acquaintance with it in those times. Now reopening after having been closed for, I believe, two years . . . and in view of pandemic protocols . . . its return may be totally a different scene.

I’ve been twice (2004/2005…ish) and it’s not my scene. Issues both times with truly bad meals (think chewy tataki du thon…yes, chewy!) Ordered a bottle of wine and, after being criticized for our choice, was brought the wrong bottle TWICE and was overcharged by a couple of hundred dollars to boot. The entertainment was very fun but not worth the other negatives. I wouldn’t dream of going there in the time of COVID; no possible way to not get exposed.

Thanks, Kent! After being forced by the pandemic to cancel your 2020 plans, I’m glad that 2021 saw you, Denise, & friends get a safe & happy return to SBH.

We haven't been for dinner but have enjoyed going by later for drinks a few times. It isn't for everyone, but it is a lot of fun. No, I wouldn't be going in the back room and trying on different "costumes" or "accessories" right now, but you can still go and have a great time without that. There is also an outdoor bar area if you prefer that

We don't go to St.Barts for Le Ti. There are many clubs in the Boston, South Shore, and Cape Cod areas. In our visits. We don't need clubs.

The Rhum Bar was a great place to have a drink; a great low key atmosphere. It appears that too much alcohol was spilt or business was not covering the costs. We went with different people in different years and all enjoyed.

Le Ti is a raunchy good time and the meals I’ve had there have been good, especially the steaks and truffle pasta. It’s way over-priced, but way fun at the same time. I’ll probably wait until COVID is “over” before going back, but I’ll look forward to it until then. If you go for dinner, don’t go too early…the festivities don’t usually start until around 11.

are you confusing it with autour du rocher? Ti Saint Barth was always where it is, but in the late 80s that space was part of La Rotisserie bakery, could go there after autour du rocher or other clubs closed for a just-out-of-the-oven croissant starting around 4am...
