La Petite Colombe - Boulangerie Patisserie Traiteur à Saint Barthélémy Liked · 6 minu

La Petite Colombe in Gustavia has indeed closed. Boulangerie Choisy is your best bet in Gustavia, but parking can be limited based on time of day. I sometimes park by the harbor and walk up. Phil uses a different tactic, and drops Amy at the boulangerie while he circles.

Check the shop just up the street from Santa Fe too. I'm not sure exactly what they sell, but they've been a hidden trove for a few things over the years. You may find baguettes there.

Alternatively, you've got La Rotisserie by Andy's, and the Petite Colombe in Lorient and Colombier.

Yes, that small grocery shop is another option but it is one of those places that is rarely open. We like to go the beach in he morning and come back to the villa around 12:30 or 1 for lunch, picking up a baguette on the way. These shops that close at noon just don't work for us!

Is Carambole still open. Could be another choice coming down from Lurin. Seems like I remember Ellen giving it her seal of approval???

We don't care that much as to how the bread looks at the Boulangerie, it is consistently as good as the Parisian Boulangeries, according to all of our friends who live in Paris and frequent SBH.

Yes, it is open. Great place for breakfast if you find yourself in this corner of Gustavia.

Stop and take a look. The last time that I was in there I would have said boulangerier, but that was years ago. Things change.

Is Carambole a boulangerie or a café?

Choisy is un café/boulangerie in town. Bon café crème and a few tables sur le trottoir to enjoy your pain, pâtisserie, viennoiserie, etc. Lively scene too of locals, touristes, and runners from yachts tied up at the quay or anchored in the rade fetching fresh provisions. Recommended.
