. . . not fancy, but a very locally authentic venue with very good, very reasonably-priced food. Great, well-priced wine selection, as well. Fabulous proprietor / chef, Romain (formerly Sous Chef at L’Esprit). No food photos here, unfortunately (I had sautéed squid), as I was engrossed in my guest’s stories of vintage island history. A forever-SBH resident, with his family among early arrivals, there are never-ending, always fascinating anecdotes.
