L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Menu

They had their first soft opening tonight and we drove by. It did look pretty especially the lights twinkling on the roof terrace…nice to see them open rather than a construction site…

their second soft opening is tonight. I received an invitation with a notation that I could bring guests with me , up to 4. I was required to respond if I was coming and the number of guests that would be joining me and also if any guests had any allergens. I will bring my camera. should be interesting.

I hear that there is a Club Robuchon area too. It would be interesting to hear more about that too.

Well, the shipping costs have to be much higher on SBH. That Dover Sole can't fly solo! I looked for other menus, but so many of the restos are still closed.
Thinking the Dover Sole fly's Tradewinds :laughing-cry: Private Charter of course!

Not necessarily aged and past usage date. There is not much farming and cattle raising here.

This year’s sole has been fantastic. As has been the salmon from Scotland and the Faro islands. Lamb from Australia. Beef from France and Brazil.

Or fish fanciers can continue to eat Mahi Mahi and dorado and tuna and local catches. FREEDOM OF CHOICE. Proceed at your own risk.

Manu and Randy proudly showed me tubs of fresh sole on ice. Sure, some comes as frozen as an Indonesian shrimp, but the high quality stuff is fresh via Air France.

As fresh as can be expected.

I have no trips booked for Dover, so I tend to enjoy it as an imported delicacy. ‘(Anywhere I can). Once a CLOD, always a CLOD.

So when does Atelier officially open? They took my reservation for late July today. Very much looking forward to the evening.

  • l'Atelier where you can discover the French high gastronomy of Joel Robuchon around an open kitchen
  • Le Club with the exceptional view of the harbor and it's simplest menus. “

I agree the view is one of the best in town, other being from Forquet's. 20210708_132037.jpg.

The driving force behind this challenging and successful project (he was sitting not too far from us yesterday, quietly lunching with a companion).IMG_20210709_215135.jpg
