I'd call it a chain, albeit upscale, like Emeril, Ruth Chris, Wolfgang Puck, etc....
especially when the chef is sadly defunct and locations keep popping up?
and I seriously wonder how many wildly overpriced places can this island support?

I had it at La Langouste on Sunday for 41€ (they run 39-59€ there depending on size/weight) with no extra charge for a view of Flamands beach and a lovely ocean breeze,
we used to say in SBH you pay for the view, now you will be paying for the name...
I am glad I ate in Robuchon's restaurant in Paris in the early 90s, he was quite a wonderful chef, breaking records for rapidity of earning his stars, etc... and he was in Vegas when his Atelier first opened at MGM Grand, where it is set to reopen in July post-pandemic...
