I believe the chef was previously on St. Martin at La Barranca in Grand Cade. He apparently is 28 years of age.

Quite the menu. Good for the island. We don’t view it as a chain- just another ‘special’ option for us lucky people to choose among!

Yes it is. The grand entrance is on the quay side, however. A stunningly beautiful woman is greeting and welcoming selected guests. A look inside reveals excellent ambiance and decor.

We ate at their restaurants in Paris,NYC and London and don’t remember the menu to be that expensive, AND we had a reasonable lunch in London and NYC…guess they are appealing to a Xmas crowd!

I'd call it a chain, albeit upscale, like Emeril, Ruth Chris, Wolfgang Puck, etc....
especially when the chef is sadly defunct and locations keep popping up?
and I seriously wonder how many wildly overpriced places can this island support?
Robuchon sole 81€
I had it at La Langouste on Sunday for 41€ (they run 39-59€ there depending on size/weight) with no extra charge for a view of Flamands beach and a lovely ocean breeze,
we used to say in SBH you pay for the view, now you will be paying for the name...
I am glad I ate in Robuchon's restaurant in Paris in the early 90s, he was quite a wonderful chef, breaking records for rapidity of earning his stars, etc... and he was in Vegas when his Atelier first opened at MGM Grand, where it is set to reopen in July post-pandemic...

The prices are breath taking. We've been to the one in Paris and that was a bargain in comparison. Not sure how many thousand dollar dinners for two I will be having there.

Well, the shipping costs have to be much higher on SBH. That Dover Sole can't fly solo! I looked for other menus, but so many of the restos are still closed.

at Maya's and Santa Fe, Dover Sole is around 59€ so Robuchon must send theirs on a private plane !

They had their first soft opening tonight and we drove by. It did look pretty especially the lights twinkling on the roof terrace…nice to see them open rather than a construction site…
