We're in Paris for a few days ahead of a Loire Valley riverboat cruise. The weather has been good. We did two day trips by train to Fountainbleu and Vaux le Vicomte. Return visits to favorite restaurants and a few new venues have been culinary highlights.

Le Tren Blue located within Gare de Lyon is just fabulous, setting (photos) and food. Mollard (Opera) and the second floor restaurant at Musee D'Orsay are also our favorites. Le Maison de la Truffe is unique and very good.

Le Procope 13 Rue de l’Ancienne Comédie, 75006, is on the top of my list!

Paris is always a great place to visit, I visited that place about a decade ago but I am very likely to visit the city this year during the Olympics.

We got to see the Olympic Torch pass by in Bordeaux on it's way to Paris.

Wonderful . . . apparently the recipient was someone needing assistance of a walker. Great to see all persons included.

We're touring by riverboat in the Loire River Valley, chateau and wine country. This chateau is located in Brissac.
