Ideas for Activities for 1 in January

Hello! My father is traveling to the island for three weeks in January. We have been traveling to the island as a family on and off since 1991. Earlier this year we lost our mother to cancer and with this my father has decided to travel back to St Barths to get some time away from home. This is his first time traveling alone and we are looking for some activities to help fill a few of his days. He is a healthy 70+ year old that is active and loves sailing and a good glass of wine.

We are open to any and all suggestions of activities. He staying over in Lorient and will have a car.

We found a St Barths sailing school and are thinking of giving him a class as a Christmas present. Any information on this?

If he likes music, the St Barth Music Festival is on in January and there are rehearsals during the day where normally people can sit in the back of the church (this year with a mask bien sur) as well as evening concerts.
