Hyper sensitive to molds, which hotel?

For reference, the Bristol in Paris made me so ill it ruined our entire trip. I've had to flee multiple hotels so entering an island where likely all will be sold out once we get there is a bit spooky. I've never had a problem at a Four seasons and tend to look for recently renovated hotels with NO carpeting.

Is there anyone else on here with this issue or who knows of particular care taken in recent renovations?
