History Channel: Most Extreme Airports Tuesday, July 20 8:00 EST

Excellent work, Monsieur. I don't care what AndyNap says about you...you are a star!

I missed the show, and was wondering if there was any talk about a repeat - but this will do it..

I have another version uploading now without the commercials. In the full show of 2 hours, 30 minutes of commercials.

The Ten. How many have you flown? I have 4.

We watched the show with the kids who can't wait fly into SXM and SBH. Told them that they have to wait a little longer to join us.

We have flown into 4 of the airports. I think Vail is more extreme than SBH.

Yes indeed they sure missed Saba. Worlds shortest commercial runway at 1300 feet. They say it's like landing on an aircraft carrier. Never did that but been to Saba a few times. Real scary, not fun like SBH.

Due to budget and time constraints Saba could not be added to the production schedule. It would have been great though.

I agree that it was a boring show, waiting for SBH to show up. I did enjoy seeing a couple of airports that we have considered flying into but haven't yet. Guess we can look forward to more exciting landings in our future. I did let some family know about the show so they could watch and see just what we "endure" in order to spend our time in paradise. Hope they didn't get too bored. Although, I knew it had to be up there in the count. IMO, the Caribbean could fill almost all of the 10 spots for most extreme but I guess they had to give others their shot at stardom. Terrance, you were great and very informative. A true professional! The footage of the incident of the aircraft running onto the beach last year was done with taste and no mention of fatality. I have to say that with all the live shots of pilots/landings, it doesn't hold a candle to the actual experience!

D,

I thought the show was very interesting -- so many new airports to try (except for Kai Tak which is closed, but I did that one). That incident that they showed in SBH was not fatal -- different incident.

We have flown into 3 of them. I'm flying into Eagle/Vail Saturday. We've only found it sketchy in winter. Last time I flew in there in March it took three attempts before we actually got on the ground.

Actually, I got an interesting story to tell about the previous crash landing. But I don't want to embarass a client on a public forum. So I will save it for the party Saturday. Ha ha ha!!! :)

I'm sure someone will kiss and tell your story Terrance!?!

Seriously, I respect the pilots for what they do. Yes, I get annoyed when my plans change, but I appreciate the fact that these pilots risk their lives every day. It can't be easy flying and dealing with demanding passengers. I trust their judgement because ultimately they decide if it is safe to fly and risk their lives.

Thank you so much JEK for the show, I don't have History channel !

Good job Terrance ! Tie on the Tv, square pants in the reality ! :)
