Hiking

I emailed access.sb following the horrific incident at the piscines naturelles to suggest they may wish to remove the listing from their website.
I never received a response.

All on real roads but very challenging. I think our Strava tracker said 450’ vertical and a couple of miles for each hike and we probably did each route 3 times. Plus we found an interesting local shop in Flamands along with fun a restaurant in Corossol. Wear very good shoes!!!!313DFC30-E01D-415A-8CC3-8F4D52060B25.jpega

Looking for a guide to The natural pools, for safety reasons I do not want to go alone -my recommendations appreciated!

Impressive!

We were on island when this happened. I thought they would have closed permanently. We went once years ago, It is extremely dangerous and now the burial site of young soul. I personally would like to see it filled with boulders and forgotten.

The Grand Fond natural pools have been the most popular and the ones I assume the OP was referring to. Unfortunately a scene of tragedy as well over the years.

The site of the recent tragedy are the pools accessed from Petit Cul de Sac, not Grand Fond.
Hopefully they will do something to avoid further incidents of this kind.
