Food delivery?

A little late- but call Premium IV- link to the right and ask. Andy's has food to go but you have to pick it up.
 
We left some chips and salsa and a half botle of wine :)

On a serious note, we were super tired as well that first day, but managed the energy to head out. Just head down to gustavia and grab a burger/fries at Le Select and do a little people watching. It's well worth it! And when heading back to the villa--look for the pile of rocks (that was our cue to make the right turn). Have a great time!
 
They are all in our heads in fact, otherwise directions are sought on a case by case basis.

My favourite is "head towards the Petite Colombe and turn left at the white Jeep"

The white Jeep has never not been there.

A couple of questions.

How do I find Petite Colombier bakery from the roy?

Also we would like to buy fresh fish and a number of people mentioned fish markets? Any near the Roy or easy place to find?

Last question. When driving around last night, we tried to go to St. Jean beach but we couldn't find the actual entry way. Is parking a problem near any of the beaches?

Right past the airport on the way to St.Jean after you turn park on the road and walk through Tom Beach hotel. There is a path that you can walk through also right next to the airport. Either is fine. The fishermen are across the street from the pharmacy just as you enter Gustavia. Turn right into the parking lot across from the Pharmacy and you will see a roundish pavilion with a few pickups. You may be too late today.
 
From La Case du Roy, head back towards the airport. The road that the villa is on will first meet the road that runs down the hill to Anse des Cayes. Keep going back towards the airport. You'll next come to a semi-confusing traffic island called l'Oeuf. Instead of continuing left towards the airport, turn right and head towards Colombier and Flamands. On the far side of the hill you will find La Petite Colombe on your left. It is about a mile from your villa.
 
What is The Roy?

Every beach has at least one public entrance -- St. Jean is 1.) next to Nikki Beach and 2.) at the end of the runway.
 
The best fish market is in Gustavia. Again, head back towards the airport. At the roundabout above the airport take the first right, and head down the hill into Public. Continue through Public and the commercial port until you enter Gustavia. The very first building on the right as you enter is the fish market. The fisherman are there early, and gone as soon as the fish is gone. Bring cash, and be prepared to speak French or speak with your hands.

Your best choices are likely the big fish. Daurade is Mahi Mahi, Thon is Tuna.
 
5:30 is a touch early for me. 6:30 - 7:00 should still work. By 8:00 it's getting to be a bit late.
 
We tried to visit the fish market last week, but there was only 1 fisherman in the pavilion, so we went to the butcher instead. So at the fish market, how does one make "the deal"? There were no signs, etc. Is it simply a barter process or is there set prices or what?
