When I went to the grocery store this afternoon in Jacksonville, I expected to see lines of cars at gas stations. Instead, the lines of cars were at the drive-thru windows of liquor stores attached to a couple of the local grocery outlets!

Light rain in "Mandarin / San Marco" area of JAX at 8 AM . . . occasional light wind gusts, but no steady wind . . . dark grey sky. Overnight, electricity off briefly, with very heavy rain for several hours and loud, whipping wind blasts. Debris this morning, however, is amazingly light. Some very large clay pots with trees & shrubbery were notably blown over . . . fallen tree branches here & there . . . but no significant flooding of St. Johns River in the 'hood.
