favorite beaches for champagne and a sunset

interested in any suggestions for a beach(es) that would be nice for a sunset in late October. We were in St. Barth last yr in mid October and our villa high up on Vitet didn't offer the best view for the sunset.

Colombier will unquestionably give you the best direct Sunset view ...so will Shell beach .......but there is no comparing the two places n my opinion...Colombier is much prettier and private ...but if you do Columbier you have to hurry off or you will have to do the walking trail in the dark and you definetly dont want to do that.....or you can take a boat and then have a nice leisurely trip back to Gustavia ( thats what we do )

Loriet is also nice for a sunset. The sun sets kind of behind the island, but it's a great silhouetted view. A picture -- enlarged and framed -- that I took of a Lorient sunset hangs on the wall of our foyer at home.

Flexibility is a wonderful thing. While Champagne at sunset is indeed a thing of beauty, you should be flexible and consider the mornings too.

My birthday frequently occurs when I'm on SBH. It is usually celebrated, in part, by Champagne and croissants on the beach in the morning. I prefer St Jean, but Flamands works too (the West end of both).

Champagne at sunrise is a bit early for me.
