And why not? If one has popular brand(s), one tries to milk it more via very expensive loyalty program. I am sure there enough people who will gladly joinRidiculous.
. . . and most importantly, it’s their money to do with as they please. And why not? If one has popular brand(s), one tries to milk it more via very expensive loyalty program. I am sure there enough people who will gladly join
do the critics here actually know the actual cost or actual benefits of being a DB VIP ?
I agree with everything you said and, yes, we love St Barth Mamo too, and we were there the first day they opened. Hope to compare it with, and enjoy Paris Mamo soon.the benefits are roughly described, not detailed. just by way of example, what exactly does "customized lifestyle planning" encompass ? I have no idea. do you ?
as to cost, yes, it clearly says to make a direct inquiry to DB for details. is that something you've done? you expect public release of cost details is possibly forthcoming ?
not sure "direct inquiry" constitutes an "elaborate process" ? but, ymmv
at any rate, when an already haut de gamme restaurant group seeks to exclude from their well-heeled clientele all but the "select" for added exclusivity, you can wager they are pricing this membership to exclude.
that doesn't offend me in the least . . . not that I am in any way their target audience.
part of the fun of going to Mamo, for example, is the scene and people watching. you don't really get that with "popular" pricing![]()
Me tooI remember when Ocean Club started with exorbitant membership fee that failed miserably.
