Day 3

Sunday Sunday! My post starts exciting…. but it was a quite relaxing day. After my inhouse breakfast… picture included in yesterday’s post, we just hung at the pool seeing several showers in the forecast. Early afternoon decided to take a Sunday drive around. Yes it’s quite a small island but it can get completely confusing to drive if you dare to go off a main road to a lane & half repair filled trail. The years of constant road repair are finally paying off. Roads leading to Grand Fond, going counter clockwise around are very nice. Being a Sunday, traffic was non existent… mostly. Hit Jo Jo’s for a late lunch and checked out the beach a bit, gave a wave to Johnny Halliday. Hit that little U Express for a few things, mostly stuff we didn’t plan of getting, yummy stuff every where. It’s starting to feel like we got on a cruise ship & eating never stops. Got back to home base and really wasn’t interested in a dinner so we opted for the Fois Gras & some cheeses…. “When in France”. All good so far, no intestinal problems with the fine French fare… nothing rum & coke won’t remedy.
Still have almost a week. Hope I’m not boring everyone. Looks like dinner tomorrow might be on the beach, Pearl Beach… then maybe hit a couple places going toward Nikki for an after dinner libation.

Super charming report!! I'm in for foie gras anywhere...an excellent choice at all hours of the day! The U Express is one of my favorite stops after SUPER U, because it sometimes has stuff that they are out of at the other store, so it's always a little surprise here and there. Check out the little shopping center across the way at L'Oasis gas station...cute stuff, local businesses, and the adorable Océane at Brin d'Île has great shoes..just sayin'!!
