Day 1

Great flight from Charlotte in first class. Made sangria from wine, fruits we packed and little bottles of vodka and rum.

Arrived early Into SXM and caught the early flight to SBH...with bags waiting. Quick walk on st. Jean and now off to the hideaway. (look out Andy, here we come). St jean does not smell nor is it overwhelmed with seaweed. You see it on the earthcam and that is what it looks lIke in person. Weed on the beach and some in the water. Nothing that would keep a busy beach from having a good time.

Time for dinner...see you at Andy's!

Yup...closed. Drove by 3 times wondering why it was so dark....

Went to Le Vietnam and had a great. Egan dinner.

Tomorrow is g.

good idea! Sorry we will miss you this time, Kevin. I keep hearing great things about this little spot, but we just haven't made it yet....

I've only been to Le Vietnam for lunch. I may have to give it a try for dinner one night.
Been there once good food very clean wasn't sure that they would make it..glad they have and like you will give it a another visit.

Le Vietnam has three other features that bear mention. First, it is one of the very few air-conditioned restaurants on SBH. On a hot, humid day/night it can be an oasis. Second, it has one of the cleanest bathrooms in Gustavia. Third, it has a small deck adjacent to it, on top of the garage? next door. You can climb out through the window, and be seated and served on the deck.

I have eaten there a few times and loved it every time...I am simply not in the mood for that cuisine when I am down there...Le Wok was another good one...
