THANK YOU - this is super helpful, everyone!! So the good news is the detour is only in one direction until July 8. My daughter is splitting her honeymoon between the Four Seasons in Anguilla and Hotel Christopher on SBH and will be there during the detour. Based on the map in John's link, it looks like a 30-minute ride from Gustavia to the Christopher at night after dinner. Taxi drivers should have a thriving night time business to the Chris and Cul de Sac hotels this summer.

It would be nice if Le Chris offered a shuttle service to/from Gustavia, but I know what the taxi drivers would think about that.

Locals aren’t cooperating in the new one-way system . . . driving up the hill, around & past at least four barriers. On coming traffic be damned! A lot of horn honking & waving fists.
