Hello everyone,
My husband and I are looking for a long term (1year) rental in the Colony Club apartment community in Gustavia. We have been coming to and renting on the island for over 12yrs and truly consider St Barth a special place. We are professional business owners, responsible, respectful tenants, and are looking for a comfortable apartment to call home for a year.
if anyone knows of an available property, or has any recommendation, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you. We could possibly consider other areas but the property must have a pool.

The Colony Club pool is not heated. The times we have stayed there in high season we did not use the pool because the water temperature was too cool.

check with si-barth.....they have a good handle on rental properties on the island. a year will be a little tougher to find as most of the owners make more money renting weekly.

I “get” what you say, Diana! It should work like that. But I’m not sure that weekly rentals really end-up yielding more revenue than an annual rental. The expense of weekly turnovers, as you know from experience, is quite high. An annual rental arrangement, on the other hand, can manage expenses (water & electric usage, e.g.).
