Charter Question!

You are both correct in your assumptions. But we also really want to check out one of the pizza places we've read about (Andy's maybe?) so not every meal is going to be super expensive I hope.

We went thru a list of places with $ signs a while ago. Maybe John can find it- I can't from here

Welcome Eric. 13 days and counting. You should be stoked. I think 250 per day can certainly cut it. Our last two trips, 8 days = $2,700 US Dollars for food, 10 days = $3,200 US for food. If we get to go out twice per year at home it's a lot so when we are there we don't hold back. Keep in mind we don't really drink, maybe one or two cocktails or a glass of wine with dinner. I actually keep track of our meal prices for future budgeting purposes. Here's a sample:
Carl Gustaf dinner $280 Lunch Guanahani $190
Lunch Andy's Hideaway $70 Lunch Eden Rock $250
Lunch Sante Fe $115 Dinner La Langouste $150
Dinner Maya's $200 Dinner Pa Cri $150 Dinner Le Ti $400 (That was an exception to our usual amount of drinks.) We pretty much splurge until we go broke and then eat pizza and delicious sandwiches for 30 bucks per day if we have to. Have a great trip.

Has anyone been to La Bottega, across from ER on the road to the stadium?? I thought it looked cute, but never heard anything about it>........

or as Peter O'Keefe likes to say, bring a big bag of euros, when it's empty, go home!

or as we say here in our resort....leave them with just enough money for gas and tolls to go home with so we re sure they do indeed go home!....

and Eric....we do far less than 250 a day for most days....far less...and the quality of our vacation experience is not compromised one bit...all goes down to what you value and what you dont value.....and only you can answer that

I need to look into this not drinking a bottle of rosé with lunch and a bottle of Montrachet with dinner. Seems to be driving up my daily average :)
