Car rental at port..a new question

DD is now talking about renting a car since we have extra time. So who might you think could rent us a car for today and tomorrow at this late time that would bring it to the port at about 5 pm and is there a place to park it overnight because we have to get to L’Esprit tonight? Sorry about the weird questions but we have never needed to do this. Or is it better to just take a taxi tonight and get the car tomorrow? There is a service we heard about at the port called Rentîles who seems to be an agent of sorts. Should we contact them?

I agree with Phil. Contact Odile or Arnaud. I think that overnight parking in the municipal lot is free after 8PM. I don’t know what time the clock starts in the morning.

Omg, you would not believe how fabulous Odile was. I explained our dilemma and she herself will pick us up at the dock tonight at 7:30 and take us to L ‘ Esprit and then pick us up and take us back to the cruise port..and then tomorrow she will get us a car for the day! I couldn’t even believe how generous she is and how accommodating. We are blown away by her offer. (Of course we will be equally generous to her, no worries).

DD brought me to Fabienne Miot for my anniversary present and the people were so nice and she helped me call Odile. I did try to explain that Kevin and Phil recommended her. Really, there’s no place like home when home is SBH!

And I want to assure you that we are taking excellent care of the economy! DD freaked when he saw the big hole next to Cantina and they took away his secret parking places. Who knows what will go in there..”luxury shopping” according to the sign! Even I don’t need more!

I said hello to Anna’s boys at Laurent EFFEL to pay my respects to their dad and Anna is in Italy. Hoping she is enjoying herself but sad to miss her.

Hermès is hopping today but I was treated really well and somebody’s birthday is next week..! Very skimpy on shoe sizes, though, so I pivoted to bracelets. Pink theme this year for me.

Pati’s (Saint Barth FEI now) was great for a cute fuzzy sweatshirt and tee, phone case..well you know the drill!

Onward after lunch at Cantina..we love the people, too. Those Ligne St Barth products are t going to buy themselves

Oh, btw, in case you are a Ligne SB Vanille West Indies perfume girl (it is my signature for 20+ years), they are out of it in Gustavia and I am going to Lorient tomorrow to pick up the last bottles as they were kind enough to reserve them for me. I’ll find out when they get more for you.

Oh, nothing out of the ordinary for me..off to see Océanne for shoes and purses tomorrow, ER lunch, St-Jean shops..y’all know the drill! Full report is coming!
