Can Someone Explain This

For some reason beyond my knowledge level this site is incredibly slow to load. My current internet speed is 250 mbps. I have no issues with other sites loading quickly but this one I can go run an errand while it loads. Is it just me?

With some tests I do get a 3 to 4 second delay after a click before the new page loads.
I am doing a few things to increase page speed.
Hopefully this helps.

I find that slow response problems can sometimes be ISP DNS problems. Simply rebooting can sometimes fix that.

The website may be slow due to server overload, poor optimization, or browser issues (cache, extensions). Try clearing your cache, using a different browser, or checking your DNS. If that doesn't help, the problem is likely with the site itself.

have you tried rebooting your device, closing tabs, clearing cache?
