A new and wonderful novel following the lives of two couples and their sons as they deal with life challenges from WWII thru Viet Nam War and coping with marriage, sexuality and spirituality and family challenges. I really cared about these well described folks, their difficult choices and decisions, and their coping with good and bad times and events.
Title gets its name from a young boy who picks up a tree’s fallen Buckeyes and stores them in his socks…sling shot ready .he gets tagged with the nickname BUCKEYE.
