Bonito

The one where you and Cheryl will be.
You are so sweet. You’re re the best. I just read your reply to Cheryl. She smiled, teared up a bit and wondered if you and Phil wish us to bring you some NY bagels.

I always request a table along the railing when I book, and we’ve always been seated there. Wonderful views of the harbor at night! (I book at least one month before our arrival)

Thanks MantyPam. Will do. However the bar last year was hopping. We might turn the table down just to sit at the bar and have dinner and enjoy the Saturday night vibe that is St. Barth.

Charlie...please give me a couple of days. After coming down from my matzoh high, so many choices.

so, would one find American cream cheese at the Super U ? if not, what French product would come closest ? Petit-Suisse perhaps ?
They have Philly Cream cheese at the U - it is in the refrigerated cheese aisle, across from the yogurt.

I would go for the butter, too. Nothing else even comes close. There's a reason I bring a LOT home with me when I leave!

What is the name of the butter? Is it really called French Salt Butter? And how do you avoid the butter TSA Guards?

@Cwater The butter is readily available on island at Marche and other outlets. I prefer the demi-sel in the blue and white checkered container by ELLE & VIRE.

Freeze, wrap in saran, then baggie and stow in checked bag to JFK. Freeze in NY.Verified this method today, in fact. Told it was perfect

Sounds like a great idea! We were there on a Saturday night as well, and it was definitely hopping! Enjoy your upcoming dinner!
