I'm thinking this is the new Pa Cri as there are ties to the Meatpacking district.

Just read the website again:

As you await the re-opening of Bagatelle we would like to invite you to be our guest at one of our sister restaurants - Villa Pacri Ristorante www.villapacri.com or La Gazzetta at 55 Gansevoort Street (between 9th & Washington) where you can enjoy exceptional Italian cuisine with the same great service and ambiance that we have always delivered.

Funny, because I went to ny with Sandra to get my visa and after we stopped at pastis for lunch. I parked a fe blocks down and we passed pacri. I told Sandra that it was a sister of pacri and to confirm asked the hostess outside if in fact it was related. She looked puzzled. Had no idea. There was a great "enoteca" just across the street called paradise or something like that. Small French panini shop. And rhone was down the street also. A little bit pricey by the glass but a great wine selection. This has to be many years ago when pastis kind of changed the landscape. I would recommend their sister, Balthazar, also.

which means what in terms of the St Barth Bagatelle... no relation to the old Parci either, but just to the one in NY?
this is getting confusing...

Say the magic word and win a glass of champagne!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new restaurant, Bagatelle, located on Rue Samuel Fahlbergo n Gustavia Harbour in the former Le Bistro location.

Bagatelle’s new international location will feature decor and cuisine influenced by the French Mediterranean, specifically the glamour and allure of Saint-Tropez. Bagatelle's patrons will be treated to signature and seasonal menu items as well as a selection of hand-crafted, refreshing cocktails. In perfect South of France fashion, guests can gather at sunset for an aperitif to wind down after a long day at the beach or shopping. The décor pays homage to the original location in NYC, infusing touches of elegance, paired with bold and eye-catching artwork, all set against a luxurious yet comfortable backdrop of white, beachy tones. This is the best news I have heard all day!! I have visited the Bagatelle in NY on numerous occasions. I have nothing but positive comments about it. This is going to be an excellent addition to the restaurants on the island. I am so happy about this. They're opening just in time for my trip!
