Belated Trip Report

OK, I didnt realise anyone still looked at my trip report, it is after all 5 years old, so I deleted the photos. However after the plea from MickG I have reinstated them. It was obviously the photo of the pelican that caught his eye. So I have included it here. Hope this is what you were after Mick. Regards John.

Which terminal was it at CDG? Terminal 2D (D hall at T2) that Finnair uses has been quite fine, although we spend usually most of the time at the Air France lounge that they use -- the days of airport shopping are gone. I don't know much about the other halls in Terminal 2, terminal 3 is a roof for the budget airlines and terminal 1 is the old horror CDG.
Anyway, there aren't that many airports left where you can kill time visiting all the nice shops around. LHR T5 and HKG are one of the best I've been recently. Terminal 2 at CDG is split to several halls so it's not a "mega-terminal" you'd expect to find in a big destination like Paris.
Good to hear you enjoyed St. Barth. Aren't there any horror stories? ;-)
