I visited Crash Boat beach on 2/9/2025. I enjoyed the beach, water, and sand for 3-4 hours then planned to leave for a late lunch. I then found a ticket on my rental car for $1000.00! I supposedly parked in a handicapped spot - that does not at all conform to ADA standards, which PR supposedly follows. See picture - no vertical signage, blue squares with no handicap symbol; compare that to an image of proper handicapped makings in Cabo Rojo, PR.
I tried to fight the fine in court, as an appeal after paying - a zoom hearing was promised but the Aguadilla court never responded. I would be vary careful parking in Aguadilla - it reeks of public corruption, to nab unwary visitors. Perhaps just visit an alternate beautiful site in PR, avoid Aguadilla.
