Baz now has coconut curry chicken, not just sushi anymore, they lost a lot of business when they went total sushi in the past as some people don't eat sushi, I am one of those people, so I would only go there for drinks.

Well good on him for rethinking his pricing. I remember once I went to the bar two get to tiny Heinies and it was like €14.
We love the space and its a frequent pre and/or post dinner drink spot.

BazBar has never been on our radar - but their menu/concept looks inviting! For live music events, is it necessary to make reservations in advance? Or is this the kind of place that you just wander in and hope to find a seat?

We've never made a reservation at Baz but also have never dined there. We tend to wander in before/after dinner in Gustavia. There used to be lots of live music, especially in high season. Hard to say what it will be like since the offerings are much less. Probably it’s fine to walk in you don’t mind standing.

Wandering into Baz Bar after dinner has never been a problem for us to find a seat...we like to sit at the bar and chat with the owner and staff...it will get crowded later into the evening if there is good music playing...for dinner we have never had to make a reservation..we arrive early before music starts and get a nice table on the water
