Re: "As for Saint Barth, I am here to report that the charm is still here..."
I'm afraid that the simple stuff went with the old concept...but the food was quite good. Here's a link to the menu:

My wife and I shared the avocado sashimi and the ceviche to start...avocado was really good but didn't quite finish it (a LOT of avocado)...the ceviche was excellent...cleaned the plate. Tempura calamari and spicy tuna roll rounded it out...both very good. Others at the table got the veal (which was huge) and really really good...and a couple orders of the grilled octopus which was very well executed too.
I'd take their food over Gypsea...and atmosphere is great too.
Were there any basic items on the menu such as burgers frites or other beach appetizers? Thanks
