Delicious and beautiful lunch today at Amnios. What a lovely sweet spot! We shared a fabulous roasted Camembert and then excellent beef carpaccio and a special of grilled French sausages (the name escapes me) over mashed potatoes. We were too full for dessert but had my eye on grand mama’s chocolate mousse for next time. Friendly service, gorgeous view overlooking Grand cul de Sac. Highly View attachment 73062

So glad that you enjoyed Amnios . . . there has been a lot of discussion about its name, and the meaning. Nonetheless, I love the place . . . easy walking distance from Villa CEC, so I've been there numerous times. In addition, the manager, Julien, formerly of Chez Gus, is a (handsome &) lovely host . . . as is Julien, the owner/chef! Great food . . . attractive ambiance . . . and breathtaking view! Thanks for posting this favorable review . . . it's well deserved, and I hope to see success in the restaurant (despite difficulty in parking!).

Glad to hear that there is a new great spot with French cosine and especially managed by Julie from Gus (we miss it's early version). How is the parking? It looks challenging from passing by.
