Air Caribe vs WinAir

Oh, good to see. I thought I read in his latest book that he was mad at them for not giving him landing privileges. Will have to re-read the book. I guess we can ditch the spruce goose idea then. Aint nobody bringing that baby over Le Tormente and walking away from it!

I do believe that Mr. Buffett may be rated to land at the SBH airport, but he has never received permission to 'land', as he sometimes prefers, in the water - so you're both correct.

I've seen N208JB, a single-engine float-equipped Cessna 208 (registered to a very Buffettesque company) at the airport more than once, and flying touch-and-go's more than once, but never seen it in the water. (Not to be confused with N210JB, registered to a very boring sounding company) which I have also seen in SBH).

I do know that Buffett IS certfied to land at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield Mass in three days ....LOL... I have a case of cold caribs, a litre of M'Bolo Rhum, and a big ol fat Cuban...and I cant wait!!!!

Right next to me, stuck to the wall next to my desk, is a picture of N208JB parked at the end of the SBH runway. :)

By the way, and as you may know, the Cessna 208 is also known as the Cessna Caravan, and it is the plane that Air Caraibes flies, as discussed above.
