So we made it to our Ti Corail 2 PM reservation. It was a very busy at the turnover but once everyone was seated it was fine. We enjoyed a crisp Chardonnay and shared these amazing deviled eggs:

We then each devoured a lobster roll and shared these absolutely perfect fries:

This place is a MUST GO and make a rezzie well in advance. We wanted to go back but they are closed Monday and Tuesday and then fully booked already for next week.

The “greens” used by Yann, Ti Corail’s owner / chef, always are the very best! Fresh & flavorful! Happy that you were able to experience lunch there.

Are there any places you can get beef or pork as the main course?

So we asked our villa concierge to book Ti Corail. They asked us to fill out a restaurant contract to complete booking. Is this standard??

We did fill out something. No CC required but they did charge a group who showed up right before us. They had a 12 pm but arrived at 2 pm.

Yep! They were a group of 5 so it was a significant revenue loss for the restaurant. And of course they expected to be seated at 2 pm but it was impossible as they were fully booked.

“Impossible.” Absolutely true . . . the small seating availability simply doesn’t allow for such flexibility.

I always have to fill out the contract to book. It doesn't ask for a cc# - it's not a big deal. I understand why they do it, due to people like the group of 5 that just decided to show up 2 hours late for their reservation.

Same, just filled one out last week. We have dined often and always booked via text though think last time I filled out a form, can't recall. I fully support whatever they have to do to protect themselves, Ti Corail's limited space is valuable and one of its many charms☀️

People feeling "entitled" is harming the responsible among us. I choose carefully where we dine prior to arriving and always keep our reservation. I have been to Ti Corail twice recently and offered to share our space with strangers that walk up without a reservation, we just squeeze together and enjoy a nice lunch.

where is this contract found? we've booked via what's app previously. just messaging. 🤷‍♂️
Yes, same, more recently they have added the contract. I messaged via WhatsApp, Camille responded with the contract link. Filled out, sent, and then received confirm via email.

hmmm. i understand the constraints that they operate under, but rather legalistic and off-putting nonetheless . . .
