Well we finally chilled after our harrowing flight experience from JFK to Julianna to St. Barth. The weather was spectacular Luca had our chairs and umbrella waiting for us at Caribe Waterplay where we can watch the world go by. Lunch at Pearl. What can I say about Pearl that hasn’t been covered…the best frites on the island. Toasted crab appetizers, shared Mahi burger and one scoop of chocolate along with vanilla rum to wash everything down. Then dinner at Grain de Sel. What a wonderful dinner. The restaurant has been transformed. Clean, spacious and breezy. The food was spectacular. Conch frittes ravioli lightly fried, lobster that didn’t need any side sauce, mango, carrot, pinapple salade and this glorious banana tart with vanilla ice cream. Of course a shot of rum that came close to destroying our palate. Highly recommended.
