13 Year Old Sailor, Antigua to St Barth in a 7' 9" Sailboat

Yesterday, 13 year old Lolie Osswald set a new world record for solo and unassisted distance sailing in a 7' 9" Optimist sailboat. She sailed from St. John's, Antigua to Gustavia, a distance of about 80 miles, in 16 Hours, 34 Minutes, and 30 Seconds. Departure from Antigua was at about 02:00, and arrival in Gustavia was between 18:30 and 19:00.
