Just finished this book by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I was not ready for it to be over. The time period is after World War II on the isle of Guernsey. The whole story is told through letters. It really worked.

And it’s now also a movie...haven’t seen it but read the book when it came out.
