Reopening this week, chef / proprietor Romain (healthy, fit, & full of happy energy after vacances)

. . . is back in the kitchen, expertly turning out delicious, refreshing, light meals at reasonable prices

I started with a cool afternoon beverage

. . . an outstanding, flavorful gazpacho

. . . and wrapped-up with a dessert of exquisite chocolate mousse (matching memories of the island’s historic prize winner from Albert Balayn (La Gloriette & Cocoloba))

It’s a not-to-be-missed, exceptional winner!

I wouldn’t say that there are “chickens [commonly] walking around,” but they have — on rare occasion, in my experience — been seen there. Much lIke a cat will occasionally be ignited wandering through a restaurant.
