WinAir layover time and VIP service?

We were there a couple of weeks ago. SXM had us fill out a form online before our trip began, and then we never heard anything else about it upon arrival at SXM.

We fly SBC and therefore don't need VIP services heading into SBH, but we always use Vincent on the trip home. His people at SXM whisk you through all of the immigration and customs lines, collect your baggage and assist with check-in (Delta for us), and then escort us through security. Well worth it!

Question: if your inbound flight to SXM is late, but SBC manages to get you on a short-connection flight, but your checked bags don't make it onboard, does SBC deliver your bags to your villa or hotel in SBH ?

SBC always grabs the bags and we never touch them until we arrive at SBH. I would guess that they make sure that they are available for transfer before they allow us to take the earlier flight (as we did this trip).

I know that didn't really answer your question -- we've never had a late arrival and short-connection.
