I failed you @ccg I’m sorry. No picture. But L’Esprit is required dining IMO. Maybe twice in the week.We are stopping there tonight for a drink before Tamarin, a reverse of Saturday night when we went to Tamarin for a drink first. I’ll try and grab a picture for you. I will say - it doesn’t matter the menu, you cannot go wrong. I had something I never would’ve ordered if not for Tof, a pork tenderloin dish where the animals are fed only chestnuts?!? I had never heard of such a thing, but I’ll tell you it was the best single meal this week. So much so I tried convincing my wife we needed to go back for a second visit this trip, though to no avail. “C’est la vie” haha - poor me had to make due at Beefbar
I’ll take one of each!
I love your endorsement of L’Esprit . . . Will be there tonight!
“The clean plate club!”All three of us tried different items. All plates were delicious and sent back cleaned![]()
This was the exact menu we had. Hard to choose!
Esprit feels a bit more polished and lively, while Tamarin is more relaxed and quiet.
I am so glad that you had a nice time at Tamarin, but my visit was anything BUT relaxed or quiet. I guess it just depends upon who shows up, but maybe Tamarin has more traction in the journalistic articles that Americans read? I'm glad nobody writes about L'Esprit..let's keep that to ourselvesEsprit feels a bit more polished and lively, while Tamarin is more relaxed and quiet. If you have already done Tamarin a few times, Esprit is probably worth trying this summer.
