I really enjoyed the photos of Autour du Rocher. I have only seen the ruins, and from them, it is a bit difficult to know what it looked like prior to becoming ruins.
I think it is better also, that the site become a hotel rather than a private villa property (i.e. continued access). I think it is a great view from that location. Even though it has no beach, neither does the Hotel Christopher, and it is a successful property.
And if we thought about the general interest of the island...
The existing hotels are not full.
Should we build more hotels in St. Barts if those who already exist do not rent all their rooms?
The island is saturated with cars, traffic, EDF plant burns fuel oil to supply different constructions. Should we burn more fuel?
Should we build more houses to be able to accommodate the staff of these new hôtels?
More hôtels but ... too much garbage already. The island is just 21 km2 and the island is not extensible
