Hello All ☺️

I am planning a trip for the first time to St Barts for NYE 12/27-1/3 with a friend of mine! Any suggestions on lodging that are reasonably priced? We are having difficulty finding accommodation due to the minimum number of nights required and high costs! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Also let me know if you will be there NYE week! Thank you in advance !

well, I always leave during that week and the week before. I was here only once for the new years eve event over the last 25 years.

it was so bad I will never do it again. bumper to bumper people on the dock..........yes, a few models and famous people, so not worth it. takes 45 minutes to drive into town with all the traffic, then nowhere to park. unless you park outside of town. the prices do go up, but prices are always expensive here. good luck on finding something, however there will be no prices "within reason." If it had been me, I would have started looking this time last year.

another option could be to stay in st. maarten and take the ferry over, ( all the planes I am sure are booked already) then be prepared to stay up all night for the parties and then take the ferry back the next morning. enjoy

Have you considered a cruise that stops for NYE in Saint-Barth? Maybe a SeaDream cruise?
actually seadream does not have availability for this year's dates. their earliest nye for st. barths is 2030 and its a 9 day cruise that is 8661 euros per person cheapest option suite, with a 2 day stay in gustavia harbor including nye. you have to stay on the boat for the fireworks as they do not transport for the late hours.

We’ve been going for NYE for the past 15 years or so, we have a great time, but you have to book well in advance. We started off staying at Le P'tit Morne, then we found an Airbnb in Vitet that we amazing we had a very good relationship with the owner , she eventually rented out her place as a long term rental. We’ve now found another place that we’ve been staying at for the past 5 years that comes with a car.
We think it is a great time on the island and love the vibe. We start off our trip with Christmas week in SXM, then SBH for NYE a week, then back to SXM for another week .
As Diana suggested you can take the ferry over party all night then go back with the ferry on new years day. We’ve met a lot of people who do that and you can bring all your supplies over on the ferry 😊
Good luck maybe you may get someone that has a last-minute cancellation.

I love St Barts! Been there only 11 times. That said, I would never even consider going for NYE or Christmas.
Likely very beautiful, but expensive x4. Parking?= forget about it.

reasonably Priced is an oxymoron that time of year!!-LOL

Available Deck 2: I stayed on Deck 2 which is exactly the same as Decks 3 & 4. https://seadream.com/voyages/12701
you are correct, but I was only referring to the within reason question, which the next availabiilty was 2030 for the lowest price. yes they do have deck 2 available for this year at 9482 euros per person. the poster said he was bringing a friend so that would make it 18,964 euros for the two of them. most likely he could find something on st. barths for that amount of money.

What has happened to that fancy United Nations-benefit ”ball” that used to occur, as I recall, around NYE?

Very reasonably priced, IMHO 🤓

OOOH! Of course. I’ll be sure to tell guests at Villa CEC, since I won’t be able to attend. (I wonder if “Club Table - Drinks Only” includes drinks? Or does it simply mean that food service is not available? I guess the answer is, “if you have to ask . . .!”)
