Very unusual . . . though, the new priest is including abbreviated English translations of Mass “highlights” in various sections of the service.

Yes, I have fond memories of that moment, an observation of the chapel and a parishioner, as seen from the parking lot of La Petite Colombe, similar to the posted photo. I did write about it, mostly to better hold on to the memory, but I’ve only ever shared it with two people. One was you, and the other was Dad. It felt like a private moment for the parishioner, one which shouldn’t be publicly posted.

JEK- I too was asked to do the second reading at Mass in Gustavia last March! Luckily I am a lector at home so I did ok. Fortunately I was reading in English!
