But Eden to Go private parking, right ?
Hotel spots for hotel shuttles, right?
Hello, the parking area in front of Eden to Go, Minoprix, the para pharmacy, and the electronics boutique / gas station area is all free parking. If you don’t mind a small walk, we always park in the back. There is construction, but if you go around the roundabout in the back, it is wide-open. For those with luggage, just do a drive-by and drop the bags at the airport quickly (leave flashers on) if there is no parking space at the airport. After a one-time unsuccessful drive-by at the airport, we always park at the Eden to Go area. We had to do that yesterday dropping off some of our family. Just pull in and go straight to the right, and you can park along the road or along the back (or front of course). Of course you can park in the pay a lot but the other areas are free and it’s a quick few steps right to the airport.
With the Winair mess over the weekend, parking was unusually difficult so we just park in the Eden to Go area. You can also park along the road that leads to the airport pharmacy however that one is a bit dicey and very busy with the trucks hauling the smelly stuff away! Parking in the back is always a fight for a space so we stick with the above plan!
Lastly, not all of the spaces at the airport are for the hotels, rental cars or taxis. When you first pull into the right, there is a scant amount of parking for non-hotel, and non-taxi and non-rental car people, such as ourselves. There is also one space to the left as you immediately pull in. Sometimes you can find a blank space sprinkled in with the rental cars, if it doesn’t have a sign in front of it. But in our experience, it is usually a drive-by and then parking at the whole Eden to Go area, including behind it.
