Does anyone know about the fire in St Jean just now across from Petit Plage down by the playing fields. Observed heavy black smoke and flames as observed from the parking lot at the Super U???

all I know that it is an ongoing fire in a house in st. jean neighborhood. the firefighters are there now trying to keep the fire from spreading. I saw surfboards in the video on le journal

It certainly was quite disconcerting. I looked out and took these photos. Fire is one of our scarier moments. Luckily, it appears as though it was extinguished fairly quickly. I heard it was the “surfer’s house“. I drove by there the other day, not for this reason, but it looks as though they just have a lot of mess to haul out now.
