It’s a street market on Rue de Général de Gaulle, the street next to Le Select. It takes place on the first Sunday of most months. You’ll find many things being sold by local businesses as well as residents, from food to clothing to jewelry, etc. There is usually live music of some sort.

True, 1 bottle of Sandrine and Christian’s M’Bolo rhum is never enough. If you haven’t tried it, try their Rhum Vanille Sec.
Another option would be the woman in the center of the 2nd photo. She is Gigi, proprietor of the long gone Chez Ginette (it burned down), who still makes many flavors of Rhum Arrangé (rum with various fruits etc. macerated in it).
