Maya's was famous for its Thanksgiving dinners . . . in part, I'm sure, because Maya's husband is American -- from Nantucket, a microcosm of American development.

Also formerly a great Thanksgiving dinner on the island was The Wall House Restaurant (a fondly remembered, distant memory!) . . . for a couple of years, the folks there -- Franck and Denis, one year . . . then Bernard & Julien another year --

Wonderful memories of Wall House especially with Jackie, Rick & Bart.

I think I did 7 times at Maya for Thanksgiving, I just tried to make a list. But it feels like I'm missing something...anyhow, all of the memories are fantastic, Thanksgiving or other times. Very happy ones, including (and almost especially) going there solo. I felt very well taken care of.

We agree 100% on the name.
Also another St Tropez restaurant with confused menu, South American inspired?
