Florida hurricane friends

So I needed a shirt today to wear while I put up shutters and put stuff in boxes and blah blah blah blah blah, preparing for the oncoming storm. I found this shirt and I thought it was appropriate. My house sits at about 2 ft above sea level, on a canal a mile or two off of Tampa Bay. In hurricane Helene I had a foot of water or so in the house. The insurance company has already totaled the interior of my home, and will pay for all the contents that touched seawater. So now I've got to do this whole dance again with hurricane Milton.
Stay safe all my Florida friends, and if you plan to stay in your waterfront home, wear a life jacket.

Good luck to you and to all others in your situation.

I am pulling out the L’Avion Irma courage shirt for Phil. Brothers in arms. Stay safe.

Oddly enough, tonight JAX has clearing skies & a moon in the sky! With projections showing Jacksonville in the center of a cone headed our way, it's apparently "calm before the storm!" Wishing well to everyone in the path!

Wishing you well, Dennis

Our area in Bonita Springs under mandatory evacuation. We are inland but our beach that was just repaired from Ian will get hit. Felling bad for Ft. Myers beach just north of us. They are still recovering from Ian.

Are you evacuating, Martin? I am wishing a safe storm to all.

I have that shirt. If I can find it, I’ll wear it. I’m glad that you have moved inland. Stay safe!

Wishing you the best in Florida. My sister is on the east coast side and said there was a tornado by her but going away from her. Some friends on the west side who are here in SD have a camera on their pool so we watched the wind but not too much yet. Many others we know have to evacuate. (DD’s parents were from Bradenton and Anna Maria island (passed on) so we are thinking of all of you from the area and the manatees, too.) Praying for all of you. 🙏
