Alex Moreau : Domaine Alex Moreau is a highly regarded family estate located in the prestigious village of Chassagne-Montrachet, in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Alex Moreau represents the latest generation of winemakers, having taken over from his father, Bernard Moreau, and continuing the domaine’s legacy with a refined and precise approach.The estate focuses primarily on Chardonnay, producing wines that beautifully express the terroir of Chassagne-Montrachet. The style is elegant and balanced, combining richness with freshness, and showcasing remarkable minerality. Alex Moreau emphasizes sustainable vineyard practices and careful vinification, using a restrained approach to oak to preserve the purity of the fruit.The domaine produces wines from several renowned Premier Cru vineyards, delivering both power and finesse, with excellent aging potential.
Domaine de l'Ecu : Domaine de l'Écu is a pioneering estate in the Loire Valley, known for its commitment to biodynamic viticulture. Founded in the late 20th century, the domaine gained recognition under Guy Bossard and continues today with a strong focus on natural and terroir-driven wines. Specializing in Melon de Bourgogne (the grape of Muscadet), the estate produces wines that are vibrant, saline, and deeply expressive of their soils, which include granite, gneiss, and orthogneiss. Domaine de l’Écu is widely respected for its minimal intervention approach, including indigenous yeasts and little to no added sulfur in some cuvées.
R.Pouillon Champagne : Champagne R. Pouillon is a family-run Champagne house based in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, classified as a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. The estate is currently led by Fabrice Pouillon, who represents the third generation.The domaine farms its vineyards with great care, using sustainable practices and focusing on expressing the individuality of each parcel. The Champagnes are known for their vinous character, precision, and complexity.
