Just booked. This makes going through SJU easier for anyone from the area. Now let's hope they don't cancel them. Also added additional flights from JFK and it seems like Mint service.

"JetBlue announced last week that it would expand its service to Puerto Rico with new flights from Westchester and JFK airports.

The airline said in a May 8 statement that it is adding six new flights from San Juan, Puerto Rico, including brand new flights to Westchester County Airport in Harrison. The low-cost carrier will also launch its premium Mint service from San Juan to New York City.

Flights from San Juan to Westchester will begin once daily on October 27. Premium Mint flights, with extra amenities like food service and lie-flat seats, will launch from San Juan to JFK on July 22."

The HPN - SJU leg was 8:30am - 11:59am for our dates and the flight home (SJU - HPN) was 8pm - 10:55pm
I didn't look into the mint flights from JFK because a non-stop flight from Westchester is a huge benefit for us (10 minutes away and no traffic) and dwarfs anything else.

Jim I am thrilled for you. Traveling and connecting your flights at airports can be harrowing.

AA abandoned their major role in the Caribbean a long time ago. They may have sold dozens of slots.

May or June '68 JFK to STX where I would live for a year while working at the King Christian Hotel in C'sted in charge of reservations, telex, switchboard, all related correspondence & occasionally help the staff at front desk, make beds if a no show employee, airport pick up if manager not available. This was after I learned to drive a stick shift & drive on the left side of the road ! A year in paradise where I flew to on Pan Am & arrived in a heavy rainstorm on the tarmac, no jetways back then...As I went down the stairs, the Pan Am umbrella turned inside out & I thought to myself, what have I done ? but it was a great year there & still in touch with some I knew who are still on island or on the mainland.

We flew Pan Am to St. Croix on our honeymoon and the flight attendant brought a miniature wedding cake and a champagne split to our seat! One of Susie’s friends worked in reservations!
and you probably stayed at the Buccaneer, maybe went to Buck Island on the Teroro ? And how many years anniversary ?
STX so different in the 60's & very early 70's, went back a couple of times to visit our landlords near the tennis club.
